Pizzando, a restaurant located in Healdsburg, California, specializes in wood-fired pizza and Italian cuisine. The restaurant is situated in Hotel Healdsburg, and features a newly added bar, open kitchen, outdoor seating and a lively atmosphere.
Taking inspiration from the menu at Pizzando, we wanted to highlight the fresh ingredients used in the kitchen. Upon entry, you are welcomed with a colorful pop of tile that acts like rug connecting the bar to the restaurant. Vertical grain Douglas Fir boards clad the entry wall and ceiling, while shelving made of patinated copper pipe hang from the ceiling to help create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
David Pompa copper pendants are sprinkled through out the dining area emitting a warm glow. The dining table are made of Sapele wood with a hand carved element along the end grain sides. These details combined with the cognac leather banquettes create a very warm and inviting dining space to enjoy a meal.
